The Marilynn McVIcker Scholarship has supported the post-secondary goals of Christ the King students since 1987.  Named for our esteemed first lady, a former educator, this scholarship embodies her primary beliefs of nurturing our youth in their Christian walk and supporting their educational goals.

For 30+ years, Christ the King has given a renewable scholarship to a qualifying student.  There is perpetuity in this scholarship in that the recipient can receive the monies for four consecutive years provided that he/she maintains a 3.0 GPA.  Many of the previous scholarship recipients have achieved professional success in their chosen careers.  Today, we continue that legacy by announcing the recipient of the 2022 Marilynn McVicker Scholarship Award.

The student receiving this award must be a member of Christ the King who has completed New Members Class, has been baptized, have a least a 3.0 grade point average, have participated in ministry at CTK, have participated in community service activities, be accepted to an accredited college or university and has submitted an application and essay.
