The Marilynn McVicker Scholarship has supported the post-secondary goals of Christ the King students since 1987. Named in honor of our esteemed former First Lady and dedicated educator, this scholarship reflects her deep commitment to nurturing youth in their Christian walk while encouraging their pursuit of higher education.
For more than 30 years, Christ the King (CTK) has awarded a renewable scholarship to qualifying students. Recipients may receive funding for up to four consecutive years, provided they maintain a 3.0 GPA and full-time enrollment status. Many past recipients have gone on to achieve professional success in their chosen fields.
To date, Christ the King Baptist Church has awarded over $300,000 in scholarships and stipends to deserving students. Through the continued support of the CTK congregation, community partnerships, and corporate engagement, we remain committed to fostering the dreams and aspirations of our students—equipping them to face challenges with faith and embrace the future with confidence.
